The Benefits of Coconut Oil

image

I started using Coconut Oil a few months ago and absolutely love it! Funny enough, I haven’t actually used it to took with yet. However I have used it as a hair oil/conditioner, skin moisturizer and just recently used it to make a homemade deodorant. The initial jar I’d purchased didn’t have a scent to it. However the jar I brought just this Saturday has a nice mild coconut scent to it, which is really nice especially in the deodorant. Also with the deodorant I’ve noticed it has a nice cooling effect when applying (concerning this recipe I’ll see if I can get permission to post it here, I got it from another site) and lasts throughout the day. For hair, it’s an excellent moisturizer and also promotes hair growth. Now I will be trying this out as far as cooking goes because I understand there to be great health benefits as far as this goes as well.
