Spring Wears
Although it doesn’t feel like it in various parts of the world, it is indeed spring time which means if you haven’t already done so, it’s time to shop for lighter wears. I personally vowed not to buy a wardrobe until I lost all or at least most of the weight. Yet if I don’t buy something soon, me and the rest of society will be in big trouble as my old clothes are begging to be let go of and refuse to walk with me another day! Anytime you wash a pair of pants to the point that the pockets wear away, it’s truly time to just go on and make that purchase. Therefore my plan of attack will be to buy a few items because I will not be able to fit them next year, dig how I speak that with confidence
And not fall victim to whenIlosetheweightitis:).
Now what I will do is focus on items that will not cost a ton of money unnecessarily and seek to care for them keeping in mind that they can be passed on to someone else who can use them during their between weight periods.
A few stores that will help me get on point, and this includes the summer months as well mind u are:
You cannot go wrong with Old Navy, although when I went in there the other day there were a few pieces that were more expensive than times past, there is still a good selection to choose from when trying to spend a few dollars, and when I say more expensive, still talking a bit over $30 compared to $20 or less, so still not a bad deal.
Don’t front on Walmart, with a little time spent, you can come out with some pretty cute stuff for a fraction of the cost.
I didn’t find Target to have as much of a variety on their site as Old Navy and Walmart, however the stores often have more available than what’s presented online, and I have not been disappointed in times past so I still give em a nod. Besides your taste may be different from mines and therefore you’d find more than I just did:-)
And for shoes let’s take a peek at Payless
Payless has surely made a come up from the time my mother would take me to buy shoes there. You can actually go in and find things you like from other stores, but at a lower cost to you.
Now do keep in mind, sometimes it’s best to make the investment in the more expensive item because it can last for years to come. However when focusing on transitional wears like myself. These stores will do you good.
