Chew on this-Perdue Chicken Patties

Turkey burgers weren’t really something I was looking to like being I never did in the past. It was actually my daughter who kept bugging me pretty much every time that I went to the supermarket to purchase some of them and after it had been a while of me eating more meat again (had cut it out almost totally over the summer) I decided it would be a good change so I’d buy a pack for us both. Got them home, made them with the works and I really liked them for once.  It tastes slightly different from a beef burger, but not so much that I felt like I was getting a bad imitation of it. It will probably take a little time to where it would grow on me as a permanent replacement to the beef burger. However it’s definantly something I can eat without having to hold my breath to enjoy it.

I went to Purdue’s site to find a picture of them and lo and behold they also have recipes to check out as well. Next time I purchase some I’ll have to give the recipe a try. Needless to say they will be a regular buy for me, now if I ever get a hold of my favorite veggie burger recipe (not likely because it’s coming from a restaurant) then I may kiss them goodbye but would still buy them to satisfy the child.
