Carol’s Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey

And in case there is someone on the planet that never heard of the product line Carol’s Daughter is a line or natural products created by Lisa Price originally in her home in Brooklyn NY, she now has several stores around the globe. The Products are for face, hair, body, and home that are tested on people not animals. One thing I love about this line is although it works well on my natural hair as an African American woman or well on my skin it’s not exclusive to brown folks but for every skin type tone etc.

I recall buying my 1st Carol’s Daughter product at a Locs Conference here in Philadelphia. The scent got me, the little flower that’s in each jar was a nice touch and of course the product itself keeps me coming back for more. By appearance, the product looks as if it would be heavy and weighty on your hair. Yet it really is a lightweight hairdress (could vary dependant on amount of product used) and I love how it keeps my dry hair moist. Love to use it on my daughter’s hair for two strand twists as well both wet and dry. So this product gets a big thumbs up from me. Only downfall is that it’s difficult to get a hold of it without ordering. There are locations that carry it in Philly, yet none that’s convenient for me. The product is $9.00 for 4 Oz’s which I do find the jar lasts long but if shipping is added to that number, usually not worth it for me until around the holidays when I’m buying for others. Yet I’m happy to know we will have a Sephora in downtown Philly soon, making it much more accessible. So needless to say I haven’t had this in a little but, but looking forward to having the product reintroduced in my life really soon.
